Trinity Dynamics Helps Upgrade One of Military's Premier Conference Centers

In September 2021, Louisville, Ky.-based Trinity Dynamics completed a major modernization of all AV systems, featuring a state-of-the-art 4K end-to-end AVoIP distribution technologies that can securely handle and isolate traffic within the facility. After a rigorous multiple phase RFP process, Trinity Dynamics was awarded the contract. The project required a complete design engineering, planning and installation for a 46,000-square-foot space that included more than 2,700 individual components. In addition to outdated AV hardware, requirements for the space changed due to both the security and structural renovations within the conference center to support the new AV display technology.

Addressing the Client’s Needs

The bid had specific requirements that needed to be addressed: balancing the technical merit with appropriate pricing while adhering to the strict requirements around creating secure networks capable of internally handling classified audio and video. The bid had to propose an engineering solution for a cabling solution to support the mission of the center as well as a managed plan to perform the general contracting necessary to implement the solution.Trinity Dynamics provided a detailed plan for everything related to the project – overall scope, each room and how to solve the AVoIP need for encoding and decoding audio and video over isolated networks. All video equipment had to support 4K from end to end.The project design needed to address important elements, including social distancing and the ability to use technology in various rooms through shared technology and be Trade Agreement Act (TAA) compliant.

The Conference Center AVoIP Solution

Trinity Dynamics installed dual isolated core AV distribution networks to support AvoIP distribution throughout the entire facility for unclassified and classified meetings. The network had to be accredited by the Cyber Security team.  The integrator also built the space with social distancing in mind with the ability for the customer to use technology to combine rooms in an ad hoc fashion, enabling rooms to be combined together to fit the meetings attendance requirements.Trinity Dynamics also added additional communications outside of normal videoconferencing equipment, such as the ability to host Teams, Zoom, WebEx calls via USB routing over IP to AV bridge equipment remotely connected to a laptop from any room via the AVoIP network. The conference center can now transform as needed and can handle classified information and function as a secure meeting space. Trinity Dynamics exceeded the client’s expectations with their innovative use of audiovisual technologies.
