Director of Operations
Tim Barrett has been with Trinity for approximately 12 years, where he began as a Technician installing audio/visual equipment. After just a few years, he was promoted to Project Manager at FBI headquarters in Washington, DC, where he led a team of engineers to provide on-site videoconferencing and mission critical technical support for the U.S. government. Tim relocated from the Washington DC area to Trinity’s HQ in Louisville KY where he served as Trinity’s Customer Relationship Manager. In this position, he was the first point of contact for customers after their audio/visual equipment was delivered and installed to their site. Tim was recently promoted to the Director of Operations, overseeing all aspects and personnel assigned to manage and complete AV projects. In addition, he also oversees the company’s Managed Services and Customer Relations departments to provide on-site A/V support for important events or for an extended period of time.
Tim is a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) through AVIXA, the A/V industry’s standard governing organization, and is highly experienced with well-known audio/visual manufacturers, including AMX, Biamp, Crestron and Extron.
A native of Boyertown, PA, Tim served in the U.S. Marine Corps for more than six years and was honorably discharged as a(n) E5/Sergeant. He enjoys spending time at the gym, as well watching his three children play sports.
