University of Kentucky Medical Center

When the University of Kentucky (UK) Medical Center renovated its facilities, preferred vendor Trinity Video Communications was chosen to provide the A/V technology for the new Dining Room Conference Center and Kitchen Cooking Demonstration areas.  The Dining Room Conference Center is a multi-purpose space that can be divided into three small rooms or opened into one large combined area.  This refurbished space is ideal for presentations and conferences, as well as for general use and private physician dining.  The Kitchen Cooking Demonstration section is located within the Medical Center’s cafeteria and serves as a place to watch and record live cooking demonstrations for healthy food prep.  Trinity Video provided a variety of A/V solutions, including a new projector, interactive touchscreen displays, microphones, speakers, videoconferencing capabilities, pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras, touch-panel controllers, and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) compatibility, as well as the installation of scheduling displays outside of each room.  For the Kitchen Cooking Demonstration area, Trinity Video designed, engineered, and installed a complete A/V production system that is controlled from one easy-to-use touchscreen.  This custom solution included a ceiling-mounted display in front of the cooking area, a portable GoPro wireless video camera on an articulating arm-mount, a second PTZ camera, ceiling speakers, microphones, and digital recording and streaming capabilities.
