Scott Air Force Base
Scott AFB, Illinois
Scott Air Force Base (AFB) is a global mobility and transportation hub for the Department of Defense. The base is home to several command and control elements that represent logistics for the United States military in air, over land, and across the sea in a true joint environment that brings together the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard members. Scott AFB is home to some of the nation’s most important organizations–including U.S. Transportation Command, Air Mobility Command, the 618th Air and Space Operations Center (Tanker Airlift Control Center), Air Force Network Integration Center, and others.
Flat Panel Displays
Working through the Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Trinity Video upgraded several different areas on Scott Air Force Base, including negotiation rooms, training rooms, and large and small conference rooms. Each room was upgraded with new flat panel displays and mounts, loudspeakers, microphones, media switchers, control system processors, cameras, and videoconferencing codecs to improve functionality, reliability, and collaboration between facilities.
