LARGE-SCALE A/V DESIGN & INSTALLATION
Built on long-standing tradition, Hunt Brothers Advantage Group and Pizza Wholesalers of Lexington, a founding distributor of Hunt Brothers Pizza, is future-focused when it comes to seeking cutting-edge technology to facilitate its success for generations to come. A FACILITY-WIDE PROJECT, TAILORED ROOM-BY-ROOM
This large-scale project encompassed the design and engineering of A/V installations in numerous areas spanning the entire facility, with sound masking and interactive touchscreens throughout. A/V solutions were tailored to the needs of a variety of rooms, including the board room, training and conference rooms, and lobby—even the “war room,” where the CEO and executive team gather for critical and confidential discussions.
The project scope also included outfitting the A/V rack rooms, the planning of which is critical to ensure adequate, optimal, and scalable space for the wiring and IT infrastructure equipment connecting all major components of the build.
Delivery of the project was broken out into phases to allow for installation to run concurrently with building construction and to be completed upon the new facility’s grand opening.
DEDICATED A/V RACK ROOM
A dedicated rack room provides a controlled environment with adequate airflow and heat dissipation. The racks organize A/V and IT infrastructure components into standardized assemblies that facilitate efficient temperature control, cable and device management, physical security, power protection, and protection from harsh environmental conditions.
For this project, Trinity designed a dedicated A/V rack room utilizing an Omni Mount 42-space rack including:
- One Middle Atlantic 9-outlet power center
- Crestron DigitalMedia Card Chassis fitted with (3) 2-input DM-NVX350C, (3) DM-NVX-E30C and (2) DM-NVX-D30C
- Dedicated AirMedia presentation systems and Intel Mini Desktop Computers for each room
- Crestron 3-Series Control System with RMC3 processor providing programming for the training and board rooms
- QSC Core 110f audio processor with 24 I/O + USB, POTS and 4 VoIP for training and board room audio
- QSC 2 Channel power amplifier providing 350 watts into 70v to speakers located in the training rooms
- Extreme Networks Gigabit Edge Switch-Summit X440-48p to act as a Dante VLan, control for devices, streaming for NVX devices and Power over Ethernet to touch panels
